WWOOF at Soggy Bottom Farm

From 2006 to 2019 we belonged to an organisation called WWOOF (Willing Workers on Organic Farms and small holdings). This is a world wide network of farms and small holdings where the owners host travellers (“WWOOFers”) who receive food and accommodation in exchange for half a day’s help.

Here at Soggy Bottom we had the privilege of hosting German, English, Chinese, French, Thai, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, American, Canadian, Irish, Japanese, Columbian, Argentinian, Chilean and New Zealand WWOOFers.

Over the years they made an enormous contribution to Soggy and have helped us build stock yards and tree houses, plant trees, clear weeds, tend the garden, work in the butchery, feed and care for our animals
